Brad Andres spends his professional and private time working on projects that address the conservation of birds and their habitats. Employed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service as the National Coordinator of the U.S. Shorebird Conservation Plan, his fieldwork has taken him to many beautiful and diverse habitats around the world, from the High Canadian Arctic to southern Chile to western India. Back on his home turf in Colorado, he’s an active member of Evergreen Audubon and logs many volunteer hours doing what he loves best. He has a long list of publications to his credit and is an engaging speaker, whether his audience includes other scientists or general birding enthusiasts.
