I, Brad Andres, spent my professional and private time working on projects that addressed the conservation of birds and their habitats. Retired from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in June 2022, I was most recently the National Coordinator of the U.S. Shorebird Conservation Partnership. My fieldwork and conservation activities have taken me to many beautiful and diverse habitats around the world, from the High Canadian Arctic to southern Chile to western India. Back on my home turf in Laramie, Wyoming, I am working on local bird survey projects and am a board member of the Laramie Audubon Society. I hope to continue to contribute to community-based conservation projects throughout the hemisphere and across the globe.
